Apartments Meden ***
Description
Apartments Meden are located in the center of Pomer, in the very south of Istria in Croatia. Only 100 kilometers from Trieste, 200 kilometers from Ljubljana and 580 kilometers from Vienna. This area has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers. The house is a 15-minute walk from the first beach where there is a well-maintained glamping camp with wooden houses, a restaurant, two bars, showers and sun loungers. Entrance to the glamping camp is free and no cars are allowed.
Pomer is a small town with 400 inhabitants surrounded by forests that are located right next to the beach and provide pleasant shade. Pomer's Šćuza Bay is connected to the Premantura Road by a narrow pedestrian bridge. There are pleasant walks over the glamping camp, Šćuza Bay and around the entire town along the children's playgrounds, handball and basketball courts. The hosts also live in the house where the apartments are located. There are two parking spaces next to the house, which is surrounded by a small garden and lots of greenery.
Figs ripen at the end of August, and grapes in September. Local olive oil, seasonal vegetables and fruit can be purchased in the immediate vicinity. The hosts have an eco-friendly accommodation certificate, which ensures an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible approach to nature and the activity of renting to tourists.
