Veruda Island (Fratarski Island) Eco Beach
The beach is located on the north side of the island near the main pier and the reception to a nearby campsite. The beach is mostly pebbly, some 350 metres long and 12 metres wide, with a natural pine forest in the background.
It is mainly used by the campsite guests and daily visitors, mostly families with children. During the bathing season, the beach is cleaned and maintained by the campsite staff every morning, and the waste is removed and transported to a municipal landfill.
Access to the beach is provided from all directions, there are no roads on the island, and access to motor vehicles is prohibited, except for vehicles used for the campsite maintenance purposes.
Access to motor boats is also prohibited, and the beach area is marked with marker buoys. There are changing rooms on the beach, as well as waste bins. At a distance of 100 m there are toilet facilities with drinking water and showers with hot water from solar collectors.
