Tour of the Miner's House Raša
The "Arsia" blacksmith's house is a small mining museum located on Raški trg and offers visitors an authentic experience of the former work and life of Raška miners. The entrance to the museum itself evokes a mining shaft, and the symbolism of underground life is emphasized by the contrast of darkness and light in the space. Pictures of miners' faces, numerous original exhibits from the mine (donated by the Istrian Coal Mines Raša association), archive films and sound effects (the sound of coal mining and explosions in the mine) provide a true experience of the mine atmosphere. The poor mining life is reflected in the interior of a replica of a miner's apartment (donated by residents). On World Tourism Day, we offer a free ticket. Just come between 9:00 and 15:00
